“Forum” is an artistic and architectural project, based on immersion within the memory of the precinct of the former Market. Positioned longitudinally over the square, this structure of juxtaposed burnt wood beams, formulates three possible uses in its beams— as a bench; table used for dining or selling wares; and as a high tables. Passers-by will become involved in an immersive space, through the creation of a new idea of the landscape that traces new paths, as a stage for conversations, permanence and dining. In the system, textiles are released, which resemble awnings of the old Market and help configure the possibilities of occupying the voids. It is a new meeting space that re-establishes the meaning of the original space.
