Pedro Neves Marques - Vampires in Space
After the Gulbenkian Foundation (Lisbon), the CIAJG will be the stage for the public programme “Crepúsculos” (Twilights), by Vampires in Space, Pedro Neves Marques’ project for the Portuguese Official Representation at the 59th La Biennale di Venezia - International Art Exhibition. Curated by Filipa Ramos, “Crepúsculos” is a series of twilight manifestations situated between night and day, human and animal, sonic and visual, local and global, that celebrate the diversity of different forms of collective hybridisation. A programme for all audiences interested in art, cinema, music, literature and ecology.

Crepúsculo Sonâmbulo: Talk and Film
The project, imaginaries and references of Vampires in Space, Oficial Portuguese Representation at the 59th La Biennale di Venezia. A talk between the artist representing the Portugal Pavilion, Pedro Neves Marques, and Filipa Ramos, Public Programme Curator of Vampires in Space. Screening of Nosferasta, by Adam Khalil & Bayley Sweitzer with Oba and The Bite by Pedro Neves Marques. (56:00m). Two artist films that echo forms of contagion and transmission in tropical contexts between past and present, history and identity.

Crepúsculo Vernáculo: Excursion-talk
Bio-acoustic excursion-talk-session on the ecology and biology of bats within the city of Guimarães, with biologist and conservator Paulo Barros, team member of LEA – Laboratory of Applied Ecology and investigator in the areas of ecology and conservation of fauna for CITAB – Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environmental and Biological Sciences of the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto-Douro (UTAD).
