Traditional percussion instruments have a strong connection to the city of Guimarães, with greater visibility during the Nicolinas festivities. This workshop allows interested persons and fans to have contact with box drums and bass drums, in the month when we begin to feel the atmosphere of the student festivities. The participants will learn how to make their own percussion instruments with the player and instrument builder, Paulo Capela, who has dedicated his life to knowledge of these instruments.
