Exhibition Opening Post-Summer Laboratories
After its initial presentation in Braga at gnration, the Summer Laboratories 2025 exhibition will occupy, adapt to, and interact with the basement of CIAJG.
The exhibition brings together four artistic projects exploring different yet dialoguing perspectives, sensorialities, and horizons, created by Catarina Braga, Dora Vieira, Renato Cruz Santos, and Mariana Sardon. Selected through an open competition, the proposals were developed in artistic residencies and will be presented in three locations — Braga, Guimarães, and Vila do Conde — with curatorial support by Joana Pestana.
This is the 11th edition of the Summer Laboratories Artistic Creation Support Program, a partnership between gnration in Braga, CIAJG – José de Guimarães International Arts Centre, and Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery in Vila do Conde, aimed at supporting and developing artistic creation in the region.
