OCTOBER 16, NOVEMBER 27 AND DECEMBER 7
Sem Espinhas

“Sem Espinhas” (Fillet) aims to create a platform that shares knowledge about food, ecology and community through transdisciplinary perspectives and collaborative practices. This programme is designed on the basis of this assumption, looking for the path that derives from the land and that involves the community at the table. This is a proposal that perpetuates our food-based identity in a balance between yesterday and tomorrow.
Programme
October 16
Workshop with “A Recoletora”
Rescue the lost memory of plants
This workshop addresses the energetic and therapeutic benefits of spontaneous edible plants, through careful observation of the characteristics of various species. Recoletora is a collaborative and itinerant platform that aims to recover wild edible plants (popularly known as “weeds”) and rehabilitate their reputation, reimagining and reintegrating them into our diets and eating habits.
November 27
Food market, workshop and meal, with Cor de Tangerina
About the origin, cultivation processes and consumption
A triptych-action that begins with a market and will culminate with an exploration of a meal in the form of a conversation around the table. The reflection also traverses the combined performance in processing the food, a sensorial reflection on the processes of food cultivation and consumption.
December 7
Conference with Mariana Salvador and Joana Kramer Horta (other participants tba)
Mapping a lexicon about food culture and bio vision as collaboration and mean of survival
Nesta conversa, o diálogo será baseado na apresentação de investigações transdisciplinares que permitam resgatar a consciência sobre os sistemas alimentares através de uma ideia de mapeamento, com recurso a ferramentas discursivas pedagógicas.
